FSIL is SO flipping SPOILED...and it's getting on MY nerves!!! (Sorry-Long Vent!!)

Okay, FSIL's b-day was this past weekend...I had been on a quest (since last year!) to find her a specific Dooney & Bourke wallet to match the handbag she has. I finally fond it about 1 month ago on their website, and bought it for her b-day. We give it to her yesterday, she is happy and says 'It matches my bag'. About 1 hr later, FBIL (her brother) gives her the gift from him and his wife...a Coach pocketbook (a small one, but bigger than the wristlet). The next day FSIL tells me that her brother and wife bought her a Dooney & Bourke wallet too, I ask, 'for what' she said 'my b-day' and proceeds to say, Yeah and they bought me a Coach bag and a Coach wallet to match the bag' Um, HELLO!?!?!?! Spoiled much!!! AND get this, (theses are FH's siblings), for Mother's Day FSIL supposedly spent $300 on flowers beds and stones for their mom, and told us it was $300, saying to FH 'you owe me $100' then turned to FBIL 'you owe me $50'. When FH asked why FBIL only owed $50, she says 'B/C he can't afford to pay $100' HELLO!?!?! But 2 months later he can afford 2 expensive wallets AND handbag for her?!?!?! P.S. FH and FBIL are both cops in Qns.

After that whole B-day present story I ask her if she is available on Say July 30 to put in the $ and get measured for BM dresses, then told her I have an appt on Fri w/ FBIL's wife, but it's at 3pm. FSIL's response 'Well I work' Uh, yeah so do I!! Then she said 'I'll just give you the $' HELLO!! M-E-A-S-U-R-E-M-E-N-T-S!

Unfortunately you just have to deal w/her since she is becoming ur family. Spoiled yes but dont let her get to you. I have a FSIL that Im not fond of. I stay away as best I can but it ***** since they have 2 kids, a new baby of 3wks that I dont get to see often.

Sorry sweetie, I cant totally relate. My FSIL is also ridiculously spoiled and I have seen it get progressively worse. She's not even 25 yet!! She's also pregnant and wants a chanel baby bag....and she'll probably get it.

What do you mean, not everyone has a hoard of expensive handbags????

Only kidding, of course. Geez, I bought one Burberry bag and that was it. Too expensive for me, so i just have one!
