I sent a confirm to my BM's for their dress fittings THIS SATURDAY...this is the response I got from my cousin, who's a BM:

hey chrissy, i just got my course schedule for next semester and i found out that the wedding is in the middle of my final exam period, and one of my finals is on monday morning may 1st (the day after the wedding) so there is no way i can go back to philly to be there in time for my final. it ***** that this cant work out :( but i know one of your other friends will feel really lucky to take my place. love you!

That stinks, isn't that early for finals? I am sure your cousin feels really bad about it.
If none of your other friends can wear it, try selling it on ebay.

I'm not upset with her, b/c she's at UPENN in a GREAT program and there isn't a lot of flexibility.

Now, I do have a friend that's her size...and I'm sure she'd be honored...but it's such SHORT NOTICE!!!!!!!

I would think she might be able to talk to her professor to see if they could work something out for her? I know she probably doesn't know the prof well enough yet because the semester just started but maybe it is worth a shot?

If not, I'd say eBay or maybe a friend can fit into it?

Well you're a better person than i am. I'd be so pissed. I just graduated college last year and i could always rearrange my final exams if i needed (for a valid reason or situation). Have you asked her if she talked to her professor? They're usually a lot more understanding than you'd think they are.

Ask her anyway, she already know about the date right? Maybe your cousin could pay 1/2 & she could pay the rest.

I agree with Jess. Definitely ask your friend- I am sure that she will be honored!

Had it been me in her shoes - I'd speak to the professor....

So, I think I'm going to ask someone else!

Completely understand about the school thing, even though it *****. Best of luck...keep us posted. Sometimes everything happens for a reason!

Sorry! With everything else going on it's tough having something else on your plate.

Definitely ask your friend, your wedding is a couple of months away so it's not that last minute.
