I sent a confirm to my BM's for their dress fittings THIS SATURDAY...this is the response I got from my cousin, who's a BM:
hey chrissy, i just got my course schedule for next semester and i found out that the wedding is in the middle of my final exam period, and one of my finals is on monday morning may 1st (the day after the wedding) so there is no way i can go back to philly to be there in time for my final. it ***** that this cant work out :( but i know one of your other friends will feel really lucky to take my place. love you!

The school/talking to a professor - won't boad well w/her parents. They're UBER strict and school is priority numero uno.
Had it been me in her shoes - I'd speak to the professor....

That *****, that is early for finals. When I was in culinary school, our finals were every month because our classes were 15 days long. A normal college semester I thought was five months long. Aren't finals the last month of the semester? I think selling it on ebay is a good idea also, if you can't find someone to fill her spot. Good luck

I had a friend in my cohort whose sister was getting married and the head chef excused her but still had to give her an F for the day regardless of whose wedding it was. Some professor's might be liant.

My FH's cousin in North Carolina is having her finals rescheduled so she can be at the wedding and she isn't even in the wedding. My step brothers on the other hand who go to schools upstate don't have to be at my wedding because it's final week (Hello my wedding is on a Friday Night!!!). Talk about family drama.
Sometimes there is no excuses for people, they are just lazy and don't want to make an effort.
