I need one for my gown (its a full A-Line)....now for the issue - I am a very warm person, I radiate heat, it can't be too hot otherwise I'll be crazy sweaty.... Any suggestions?

Re: full slip???
OMG you're August like me, you're going to DIE with a slip on. Do you mind if I ask what you're wearing it for?

Re: full slip???
I need it to fill out the skirt a little more... it's a full a-line gown and does NOT look right w/out the slip... When I tried on at Davids, it was very comfortable not hot at all, the one at Lilliettes had me DRIPPING in sweat. This is my gown, so I def need something to fill it out on the bottom: http://www.jasminebridal.com/J_1_1_1_1.aspx?sqno=JPN20100025&j_style_no=STYL20080821003&j_line_no=LINE20080821007&j_line_season=F

Re: full slip???
I forgot that was you with that awesome dress, I know what you mean about having it full at the bottom, it really makes the dress.
Did they suggest anything where you got it to help you fill it out without the risk of heat stroke?? I don't even know what to look for online

hahahaa, I'm seriously thinking about making one myself, I'm sure I could do it, but I think I'd rather just get something professionally made.

Re: full slip???
I would just order the one from Davids Bridal since you are sure that it doesnt make you sweat like the other one did. are you sure the actual wedding gown isnt too heavy?

Re: full slip???
What about one of those hoop skirt things? Although I don't understand how anyone is supposed to sit in something like that, it seems like it would be a little bit more 'airy'

yeah, I actually took the slip off after a while and spent almost an hour in the dress without it and was fine.... loved it, but you can def tell the difference when there is no slip, the fullness isn't quite the same.

yeah, it was the one from Lillettes that I had a hard time with... I think I might have had a reaction to the material it was made of - I was DRIPPING sweat, it was gross!!!!

YOUR DRESS IS GORGEOUS!
No advice for you on the slip. I'm worried about the heat in my dress, too. Too many layers of tulle.

Re: full slip???
the slip I had on not only had crazy layers of tule, it also had the most bottom layer as acetate or whatever she was calling it - no joke, it was like a plastic bag, that's what it felt like.... I needed to get out of it!!!!

Re: full slip???
get a hoop skirt! It's the same fullness without all the crinoline

Thats what I was going to suggest too. I've never tried one, but I'd imagine it would be cooler in there than under layers on crinoline
