Hi Ladies, I need desperate help. I am thinking of giving full size bottles of wines but I am not sure which brand I should give that's good but not too expensive and also where should I go to buy it? Any wholesale places??? Do I give one per couple or one per person?
Thank you!

2 BUCK CHUCK at Trader Joes
ditto that! We bought one of each type, so far we are loving the shiraz...
Did you know how it became so cheap? The story goes....Charles (chuck) and his wife got into a bitter divorce, she won the company in the settlement, and since he was so obsessed with his award winning wine...She decided to only charge $2 just to spite him Good for us!
A lot of people make comments about it being from Trader Joe's..It is actually A REALLY GOOD WINE.. thats what we are going to do.

My dad has been buying Trader Joe's 2-Buck Chuck wine for years in the caseloads. He always went to New Jersey to get it because for the longest time, that was the only place that had it. Everyone who has tasted the wine always thought it was so good, and was surprised that it was so cheap.
It is true that only the Union Square store sells the wine in NY. I've heard there's some weird law about why they can't sell it in the Trader Joe stores on Long Island. The one in the city supposedly found some sort of a loophole to get around it, and that's why the wine part is sort of a shop next to it rather than right inside the Trader Joe's in the city.
I'd recommend checking out the Union Square store, or maybe taking a ride to Jersey one weekend and getting it there. (It might actually be easier than trying to drive to the city and find parking). If you're able to get the TJ wine, I'd recommend doing a bottle each person. That's what we're going to try to do.
YEP!...thats where we went..there is a whole wall devoted to it! We are ordering 18 cases!
