fuming!!! (vent!)

my mom and i have been on the hunt for a hair comb...still no luck....but here's what happened to us today.

We drove to a certain boutique in st. james (fm me for the name) because they carry a line i'm interested in. we walk up to the door, it's locked. sign says ring the bell, so we ring it. no one answers. i take out my phone and call the shops #...and i get the owner on the phone who says 'oh...yea...i'm not there...we're really by appointment only' ....me: 'i'm sorry, but i'm literally standing outside your store, and looking at a sign that says that not only are you open until 5 pm tonight, but that WALK INS ARE WELCOME!' her: 'yea....i'm sorry about that...i dont know what to say...' i went on to tell her how RIDICULOUS she was and that i couldnt believe this is how she does business , that she needs to get herself a NEW SIGN, one that says by appointment ONLY, and how i WONT be recommending her store to anyone!!!....then i hung up on her.

SO STUPID!!!!!!

Um... wow. That's all kinds of incredible.

I'm surprised she has a number posted where she can be reaches when she's not at the store then.. and that she pciked up! That can't be the first call she's gotten...

Hey girl, I am sorry to hear about your horrible experience.. have you tried bridal styles? its out in bklyn but its a store of strictly hair combs, headbands, tiaras, etc.... its gorgeous.. they also have some thomas knoell pieces... HTH!

hmmmmmmm do they have a website?? i might have to look into that tho, i'm running out of options here. i feel like i've looked all over the internet, all the bridal stores and boutiques in the area........
