Is anyone going to do one of those 'rock the reception' first dances?
We are...and I am sooo pumped about it! (yes I said pumped)
We are NOT telling anyone... NOT even the BP... well I mean clearly I just told all of you! LOL
I watch the You Tube 'Fun First Dances' all the time.. I literally LOL at them!
It is sooo my FH's and my personality to do it!

I really wanted to do this but I wanted the whole BP to be involved! I wanted the 2 of us to dance alone for a bit - then have the BP join us and then cut the music to a different song and have a fun dance. I don't know if we will pull it off though bc there's A LOT of us!

i told FH that i want to do to this. I want to start off w/ our song and then stop and break out into some salsa or something.

OMG that is so awesome! i see them all the time and i keep thinking how amazing they look! unfortunately, my FH and I both have two left feet so this is out for us! but i hope you get it on film and share the fun with us!

THATS AWESOME- i would love to but my FH is painfully shy and self conscious - he wouldnt go for - im lucky ill get him to dance with me at all LOL

We're going to so a swing dance...I guess its a little different but probably wont surprise anyone since I think everyone knows we're swing dancers and we are having a swing band play the reception....

I am gonna make the mix cd so that it starts to skip like 30 seconds into the slow song... and we are both gonna start getting like embarrassed and mad...and then have the fun mix start :)

I know the FIRST fast song is going to be that Apache song... the 'come on jump on it de de de de de ..' lol that will smith funny one! um.. we have a few... funky ones...and a few rap ones...
I would love any suggestions!

FH and I are doing this as well. We are going to take dance lessons, and have a choreographer plan our rockingout part!!! FHs idea, and I love it!!!
He wanted for us to come out to 'Baby Got Back' as our introduction song, but I'm thinking maybe I'll let him have it for our rock out section of the first dance instead!!

So who do you do this???
So technically we start with Our Song..... Then we just Switch to something like Merengue??? Or instead of our 'weddng song' we dance to a Merengue???
