fun honeymoon ..where should i go in aug?

i want a lot of adventure like white water rafting, tropics, rain forests or a honeymoon cruise

where should i go in hurricane season
my travel agent keeps pushing Cancun and riveria mia but something seems wrong about it.

she states that i should do cancun first then 4 days in riveria last b/c the hotels do not look as good in cancun . is something wrong with cancun???

I say costa rica, my friends jus twent there for their honeymoon and said it was an adventure like no other. My family goes to cancun every year, and i have been there multiple times, and I am not sure thats how you want to spend your honeymoon, but if you choose to go that route and need help with planning please let me know :)

no cancun is awesome but its more of a party atmosphere...the riviera maya is more relaxed and more for honeymooners..i am staying at secrets capri in the riviera maya
