over my february vacation i will be looking into finding a photographer. i want someone who is non-intrustive and i want simple, fun pictures and group shots. i am not a big fan of very traditional poses where the bride and groom are sitting in the grass or spending hours tilting their head in weird directions. if anyone has any ideas of who i should research your help would be greatly appreciated!! THANK YOU!!

im using Leli Photography... his pics were very unique and photojournalistic... on my search I also liked Dan Krieger's photography as well...

she is in CT but will travel
look up ireneinchicago in the brides review her photos are so pretty and those are the same photograpgher
i met jamie in peson 2 weeks ago and shes funny and sweet and has tons of ideas

Im using Visual Concepts...Im really happy with them so far...and several of my friends used them and were really happy...they were definitly fun...and easy to work with

Artisan is really great in that way. Their attitude is really unobtrusive and thier shots are great. they didn't have any 'standard' shots. Every album I saw was completely different from each other album
Proline has some really creative shots, but their work is pretty inconsistent and you don't know which of their many photographers or album printers you're going to get..so i was disappointed

We are using Patken. The main reason, besides there beutiful photo work of course, we went with them is there non-intrusive style. That is what sold us!

I'm using K & J Photography and I'm so happy with my choice. We got an great deal and customized our package to suit our needs. We are getting both film and digital photography.
We have 2 photographers, but our main one is Konrad (Jola's husband a LIW user), who also runs the biz. We wanted traditional shots, photojournalism, etc. We just specified what we wanted in the contract. We didn't but I'm sure you could even put 50% photojournalism, 30% etc.
