Fun while saving for wedding...

every year once or twice during the summer we go to the bronx zoo - I believe it's on Wednesdays they have no entrance fee (just a 'donation'). I think it's because that's the day they clean everything or something like that.

Other than that... just relaxing together. Going to the beach. FH windsurfs, so I'll bring a book and lay on the beach while he's out on the water. Taking my bunnies outside to play and laying in the grass. Seeing a movie, or renting the movie and getting take out.

I find that all you really need to have fun is good company. There's nothing nicer than taking a blanket outside and laying in the grass with somebody you enjoy spending time with.

walk along the water

everyone has such great ideas!!

we spend time with our other 'engaged friends saving money for their weddings' - by either going bowling (sounds corny, but is a lot of fun and very cheap) haha, taking turns cooking dinners, wine tasting (the whole day costs maybe 15 dollars), renting movies versus going to the movie theatre etc......

go to the gym.
go swimming at the local park
we go roller blading
shoot hoops at the school yard
ride our bikes.

BBQ anything

check out HBO on demand
sing each other songs

Walking around the city, especially Central Park
Renting movies
Catching all the street fairs/festivals
Driving around
Walk the track nearby
Sit outside and drink!
