fh: So I was thinking about the garter thing on the way to work this morning and wondering if it's worth doing? Are you set on doing it? I was just thinking about weddings I have been to where its done and sometimes its good but sometimes its just awkward. What do you think?
me: i dont care. i bought my garter and everything but i guess we don't have to do it.

ok so now my question is.....what do u ladies think about the garter toss? We have both been on the fence about it but i bought a cute penn state garter so i figured i'd just do it. now we arent sure.
either way i am def doing bo-k toss? should i skip the garter?

At my friend's wedding, I caught the Bo-K and this other guy caught the garter. The MC went up to my friend (bride) and asked if the guy and I knew each other and she said no, so he didn't put the garter on me, we left it at that.

i think we are gonna do it! i think its kinda fun and silly. ive been to some weddings where it was actually hilarious and all the guests were laughing. so im hoping for the same reaction

I'm really anti garter toss. I was at a wedding where the girl who caught the bouquet had a full on meltdown during the whole thing. She ended up hysterical in the bathroom and ended up leaving.
I vowed right there never to do it. It's creepy anyway.
