Funny Kid Response
So as some of my previous posts may have mentioned, I have a couple of young nieces. One in particular I am very very close with, and she's like my little buddy. She was away with her dad when I became engaged, so when she got home, my sister told her that I was getting married. The convo went a little something like this:
Sister: 'Emma, want to hear some exciting news??? Aunt Ashley is getting married!!!'
Niece: *Look at her skeptically* 'No...'
Sister: 'Yes, she did! She's getting married to John!'
Niece: 'No she's not! Ashley's not even a grown-up yet!!!'
How hysterical is that? I mean, I know she considers me more of a friend than an aunt, so it's just funny to me that she considers me a kid. Anyway, she's starting to understand it now. She thinks the wedding is a parade. She keeps asking if we will have balloons...
LOL!
