Re: Funny RSVP Responses!
i had rsvp postcards:1. i put a picture of our parents wedding day on the rsvp - someone cut it out and sent the rsvp back in a separate envelope!
2. my uncle writes - uncle steve from brooklyn on the rsvp line. as if i didnt know where he was from.
3. i had about 10 people add the extra 1 cent postage even though i used a 41 cent stamp (due to the photo i wanted on it...and i only wanted to use 1 stamp).
4. theres the person who didnt realize my rsvp was a postcard, sent it back in an separate envelope with a note that said they were sorry but they lost the rsvp envelope.
5. and on my mistake - i had 1 person send back the rsvp with their own postage - bc i had forgotten to attach it myself before sending. oops!

Re: Funny RSVP Responses!
Most people have added things like gladly or happily next to the will attend but didn't put the number. The funniest thing written though was from my grandparents. They wrote
Mr & Mrs Granny and Papa.
I just got such a kick out of that one.
That;s it so far. i've only received about 10 of them back so far.

We put forever stamps on the envelopes so people wouldn't have to worry about postage going up...someone put an additional forever stamp on it! lol! Both of them are teachers! The envelope is not that big!
Stace - we NEVER reply to the same topics! Too funny!

Re: Funny RSVP Responses!
My invites don't go out for a while but how cute and funny are some of these
In all the years of sending RSVP's back when I was a guest I would have never thought to do some of these, and reading what others have received, glad I wasn't 'that' person!I did get quite a few people get confused over the STD cards when they went out. They are not that recent of an idea, I guess they just never encountered them before

Re: Funny RSVP Responses!
Bump... we just got an RSVP from an elderly relative who didn't check the box for 'accepts with pleasure' or the box with 'declines with regret'she wrote 'Yes' on the line next to her name.
Maybe we should have included 'accepts with regret' and 'declines with pleasure' too?

Re: Funny RSVP Responses!
bump again, we got another funny one today!
FH's grandma's brother lives in the middle of nowhere, and his 48 year old son lives down the street from him. we sent them each their own invitation (and each their own RSVP card/envelope) but they RSVP'd on one card.
My dad was like.... Jim & Bob _____? Who's the gay couple?
I don't know if they thought they were saving us a stamp? maybe they wanted to keep a response card/envelope as a souvenier? they can't come, so

Re: Funny RSVP Responses!
I had two people check both accepts and declines...I had to go to each of them and say 'Well? whats it gonna be? Are you coming or not?' Apparently one did it by accident and the other 'copied' because they thought thats what they were supposed to do
I also have people asking if they need the ticket to get in...our save the dates look like concert tickets (but we made them magnets) people actually think they need them to get in.

(1) One older guest wrote his name on the RSVP line, and then his 'number' in quotes next to it. Not sure if he was trying to be funny or thought he needed to include that!![]()
One of my aunts included her number in a similar manner on the envelope flap
