Funny Story

For the sake of this story, because i don't want to post my last name let's say my FI last name is Smith. I called the hotel where we have rooms blocked off for the wedding to find out who had booked. And the sales manager is going through all the names and then she gets to the last day in the block (the day of the wedding) and she says and on Saturday there is a Mr. and Mrs. Smith registered. And I'm thinking who the heck is this? Everyone else in my FI family has already booked somewhere else, who is this Smith? So I asked if there was a first name and she said, hold on let me go see. So I wait on hold, trying ot wrack my brain of what missing family member of my FI am I forgetting. She gets back on the phone and says Stefani, uh that's you! It was our reservation for the wedding night! We laughed so hard, because the last thing that occurred to me was that 'I' was Mrs. Smith! First real hit that I'm going to be someone new with a new name. Just thought I would share. 44 days and counting!

That is funny. Unfortunately, I am very used to my future last name because my fiance constantly picks on me with it. He knows I hate it! Am I alone, or does anyone else hate their new last name???
