funny thing on the train

so I'm sitting on the train yesterday on my way home, reading The Knot mag (my fav), this is my quiet time so I am totally in 'the zone'. suddenly the guy sitting next to me asks me 'are u a designer? '

say what???
I answer back 'no! I AM GETTING MARRIED!!! '
so the guy doesnt get it, and continues the 'conversation' 'so ur looking for a dress now?' (I was at that moment looking thru pages of dresses)
I relply 'no! I have MY dress already!'



funniest is how offended and defensive I got
