funny things you have seen at/heard about at a wedding...

When my parents got married, my Uncle wrote on the back of my Dad's dress shoes... my dad never noticed when he put them on.. but everyone did when he was at the alter..

What have you heard about or seen that was funny at a wedding?

i think i just peed my pants a little when i read that!!! thats hysterical!!! I LOVE IT!!!

i wish i had a funny story but i dont!

Well....my parents' first song was comming up and the band forgot the music, so they ripped out 'Its Impossible' by I dnt kno w who, but since then my parents have had an impossible marriage.

At FH's parents wedding, people were taking bets to how long the marriage would last.

They met at FH's gradmas funeral. THey were engaged and married 8 mons later. FH mom was going tobe married in 2 weeks but broke it off when she met FH's dad. Playing poker she said if u lose you have to marry me. When he lost she told him to be at the church at 2, when the ceremony started at 3. 8 mons later FHs dad freaked bc he thought it was a long running joke, but it was so he wouldnt be late!!!

And thats why someone started a pool and everyone took bets!

hahaha !!! your poor parents hehee!!!

my cousin in greece had her reception at a hotel....where there was a pool. around 2am they threw the bride in the pool. since her dress prevented her from coming up..they threw in the groom to save her.

unfortunately yes. she laughed it off though. i would of killed them all!!

well at least it was 2am and not middle of the party haha...

but her poor dress!!!

my dads cousin had this at his wedding, lol!!! dont know if he did it, or if someone did it as a joke though! lol.

at my parents' wedding:

My mom's mom had passed away when my mom was only 16. So her great aunt was so concerned that my mom wouldn't know what to 'do' on her wedding night. The whole night she tried to get my mom alone to 'inform' her. But everyone knew what she was trying to do so they kept pulling my mom away! At the end of the night, her great aunt ACTUALLY ran after the car screaming 'I have to tell her what to do!!!' Everyone cracked up - they were sure they would figure it out on their own!

at my brother's wedding:
The limo dropped off my family at the wrong pier ( they got married at the lighthouse) and it was twenty degrees that day. My 88 yr old grandma was with them but she refused to be carried in her new dress. So, FH and my cousin-in-law each got on one side of her and kind of picked her up off the floor by her elbows and RAN with her to the hall!! Her feet didn't touch the ground the whole time and she was hysterically laughing! I wasn't even there to witness this but it is one of my favorite stories about my grandma!

Till this day I still think me and my family are going straight THROUGH H#ll for this one...

My cousin was marrying a woman his mother and his sisters couldnt stand. Well..at the ceremony we swore his Mom was going to jump up and object to the marriage, so when that part of the ceremony came up we were all nervous and looking at her...she had a huge grin on her face which started a giggle fit. (Thank goodness no one heard us...)

They held their reception outdoors on what had to be the hottest day of the summer. The grass was wet and it was all mushy and muddy, and ALL of the tables were DIRECTLY in the sun (Our was even wobbling to the point where our glasses kept falling over). We (Me, my Mom, My Grandmother, Mother of the Groom, his sisters and his nieces) all decided this was too much and MOVED our table across to a nice shaded area. At first people were looking at us like we were crazy...but soon a few other tables followed suit...

About 15 years ago my little brother was a ring bearer in my uncles wedding (he was about 7) and my baby brother was jealous, he was about 4 at the time. So the wedding videographer was interviewing people and my baby brother asked if he could be the ring bearer in his next wedding! We thought it was funny and innocently cute!
