For my aunts wedding, she got married at a place a little far from where she and everybody lived, not insanely far, but bc of that they got a bunch of buses for the guests. My parents helped pay for their wedding, in christian orthodox religion this is typical. Anyways at the end of the night my parents and my aunt and uncle made sure everybody got on all the buses, and everybody had a ride bc some people did drive. Well then just about everybody left and they realized they didnt have a ride, the place closed so they couldn't ask for help and this place was in the middle of nowhere, so they had to walk a couple of miles to get to an area they can get a cab. Alot of cars were driving by and seeing a bride, a groom, and then two other people all dressed up walking through this dark road at night. They didnt get up until close to morning.

LOL i know I felt so bad. I was about 9 years old when this happened, and the funny part was that I was one of the last to leave in a car with family, and they would've had room with us. Then when they came home in the morning and told us we thought it was crazy but also found it histerical. Hey its something they'll never forget lol

Looking back it's , but at the time I was so beyond , a guest at my cousin's wedding (my cousin is gay) asked his wife or GF (I don't know them) where the was.

The Invitaion clearly stated Edgar & Johh, what a dumb @ss

When my parents got married, my Uncle wrote on the back of my Dad's dress shoes... my dad never noticed when he put them on.. but everyone did when he was at the alter..

My mom told me that her biggest wedding issue was my dad's shoes too, LOL my parents were married in '77 & had a huge BP that was Pastel Rainbow... Well my Dad insisted that he wear his YELLOW CONVERSE High tops, my mom was so scared that she would walk down the asile & see the yellow shoes. My dad didn't wear them, but in the pics of my mom & Grandpa walking down the asile you see my mom looking down & yup she was checking out my dad;s shoes

my friend just went to a wedding 2 weeks ago where one of the groomsmen got so drunk that he passed out someplace in between the church & reception & missed the WHOLE RECEPTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how crazy is that?!?!?!?!?

at my parents' wedding:

My mom's mom had passed away when my mom was only 16. So her great aunt was so concerned that my mom wouldn't know what to 'do' on her wedding night. The whole night she tried to get my mom alone to 'inform' her. But everyone knew what she was trying to do so they kept pulling my mom away! At the end of the night, her great aunt ACTUALLY ran after the car screaming 'I have to tell her what to do!!!' Everyone cracked up - they were sure they would figure it out on their own!

at my brother's wedding:
The limo dropped off my family at the wrong pier ( they got married at the lighthouse) and it was twenty degrees that day. My 88 yr old grandma was with them but she refused to be carried in her new dress. So, FH and my cousin-in-law each got on one side of her and kind of picked her up off the floor by her elbows and RAN with her to the hall!! Her feet didn't touch the ground the whole time and she was hysterically laughing! I wasn't even there to witness this but it is one of my favorite stories about my grandma!
