Funny things your child has said or done... (LONG)

My son cracks me up sometimes with the things he says!

We took him to the movies last weekend, any while we're waiting for the movie to start, we were talking about cars and FH said to him 'tell Mommy we want to get a convertible'. Scotty said 'NO WAY!'. SO Jim said 'I thought you like convertibles' and Scotty said 'Not since they invented bird poop!' We were hysterical!!

A couple of days ago, my neice was over (she's 3) and she had left her toothbrush here from when she slept over, over the weekend. Scotty said to her 'Brianna, I gave this back to you twice already. It's YOUR responsibility!' So bossy of him!!

I remember when FH first moved in with us, Scotty was 4 and FH had a big dog (my son had never had a dog around and was pretty scared). He got used to her pretty quick and one night he wanted to dog (Casey) to sleep in his room. I said no, because she'd jump on his bed. So he said 'Just tape her to the door!' so I said tape wouldn't work, so he said 'OK, then staple her!!'

Ya gotta love kids!

Well, not my kid per say but last night I was talking to my niece (she's four) and she was complaining about how some boy keeps picking on her at preschool (tripping her, spitting on her, pulling her hair, that sort of stuff). I asked her if she told the teacher and she was like 'I don't think she'll do anything about it'. I was like 'Well.....then do the same thing back and ask him how he likes it'. So she's like 'Yeah, you're right. I should knee him in the nuts and kick his A$$!!'.

I was like 'Well...Tina. I never said that...'. Lord knows where she got that one from??

LMAO!!!! I just love the things kids come out with!!!

My nephew is going to be 5 in March and I asked him if he likes his new cousin Gianna. He tells me 'I don't like babies' When I asked him 'why' he says 'they don't do anything for me'

He kills me!! I told him that he was once a baby himself and he tells me he's 'a big boy now' and walks away!!!

My 2 yr old niece loves chocolate and my dad gave her an overload of M&M's on Xmas. On New YEars my brother and sisterin law told my Dad no candy....well he is a grandfather and anything Jessie wants he is gonna give it to her. SHe had a few M&M's in her mouth and my brother said 'Hey what are you eating' she looked around at my dad and my mom and back at her parents and said 'carrots'


When I was 3 years old I was with my Grandma and some guy was honking his horn and I turned around and said 'ohh beep beep your a$$' My grandmother almost had a heart attack. Apparently I was mimicking what my Mom would say when she was driving

Aidan si just learning to talk and identify things-- well he calls my Mom ' Nana '.. He also calls a Banana ' Nana' . And now when he points to an elephant -- he says ' Nana' .
Needless to say this does not make my Mom feel very good -- but it is soooo funny!

Kids truely do say the darndest things

When my brother was about 3 we had a bbq. My dad asked him if he wanted a corn on the cob..he stared blankly at my dad for a few minutes and then just blurted out..WHAT THE HELL IS A COB?!?! We were dieing!!!!!!

This one isnt something funny that my sister said it was something she did. My dad would come home from work and always relax in his recliner. He always wore these zip up boots and this one day he was reclining in his chair with his boots on and he asked my then about 5 year old sister..Kimmie can you please unzip daddys boots...she heard the unzip part but not the boots part so she turns bright red and doesnt move. So my dad tells her please Kim, daddys tired..so she very slowly and reluctantly moves towards my dads chair..all of us wondering what the big deal was..so she gets over near him and instead of going down by his feet heads towards the top of the chair where he was laying..now we are all wondering what shes doing..

Then to our surprise and utter shock..she makes this face of disgust, leans over the chair, turns her head away and starting unzipping my fathers FLY on his jeans!!!!!!!!! My dad flew out of the chair and started screaming what the heck are you doing?!?!? My mom is hysterical and my sister starts to cry...she thought my dad asked her to unzip his jeans!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was so funny, needless to say, he never asked her for a favor again!!!!

My friend Deanna has to little girls Amanda and Alyssa. One day she goes to home depot with Amanda who was a baby and in the kid seat in the shopping cart. She is also with her husbands cousin who is pushing the cart. They are walking past the power tool section and this guy dropped a power tool on the floor so her daughter (whos like 3 at the time) screams out 'what the HE!! was that' everyone just stops and looks at them and what does Deanna do she says to her husband cousin and says 'OMG I cant believe you talk like that in front of your daughter and let her talk like that'
I have come to the conclusion that Deanna needs to stay out of Home Depot. Cause one day while she is in home depot with her other daughter alyssa this older lady walks past them with hot pink hair and one side is braided. Alyssa walking holding Deannas hand has her head turned following the lady with her her head and screams out 'thats a skank right mommy' And what does Deanna do she says yes alyssa lets go. She agreed with her she said well I couldnt lie about it.

A few funny things that Luke does that come to mind are if you say 'Did you toot (fart)?' He will blow a raspberry.

And my Mom always says to him 'How did Luke cry when he was a baby?' and he goes 'WAH! WAH! WAH!' It's so funny.


I wish I could remember some of the things my 14 year old nephew did when he was a kid. He was so funny, he had us in stitches over the years.

My aunt still laughs at something I said to her when I was about 6. I was going over for a visit and I had a prescription medication in my bag for an ear infection. My Mom told her it was in there & to take it out so when she opened my suitcase and took it out I said 'Those are my birth control pills.' She said almost peed her pants it was so funny to hear a 6 year old say that. (Wasn't I so precocious? ) I guess I overheard my Mother talking about it - kids really pick up everything
