We just discovered that Golem really loves when we 'snuffle' him -it's the wierdest thing but he goes nuts with kisses whenever we do it!!! I was playing with him over the weekend, and I just imitated what he does with us - the constant sniffing :) So I was nuzzling his fur with my nose as I made sniffing noises and he LOVED it!!! All of a sudden I was COVERED in puppy kisses and it was the funniest thing! Now we do that to him whenever he's being sweet-not-hyper-biting-right-now- puppy :) I wonder if it reminds him of how his mom and other littermates used to groom him or something like that? It's definitly comforting to him, so we'll stick with it :)
Just wanted to share that and see what everyone else's babies like that we might think odd :) What funny things does your puppy like - or did they used to like when they were puppies?

Everyone is going to think I'm gross here but Angel loves to be fake groomed too (so does Gizmo my Mom's B/T). When Angel/Gizmo were pups, they would sit in my lap and lick my neck. So oneday I 'pretended' to return the favor. They both were so relaxed, they nearly fell asleep. So every once in awhile when we're snuggling, I'll pretend/mimic like I'm licking her neck, ears and they LOVE it. It's the cutest thing!

Chewie likes to sleep w/ his nose buried under the blanket. He also jumps in my lap EVERYTIME I am on the computer and curls up to sleep. He also loves belly rubs. When I do this his eyes close like he's going to fall asleep. It's funny.

Bama does the same thing with me! I discovered that one day when I decided to sniff him like he does to me. Every time I do this he licks me all over! And he absolutely LOVES shoes. He grabs them by the laces and drags them around, then shakes his head like he's wrestling with the shoe. It's pretty funny to watch. He also loves laying by the fire on his Bama blanket

Our Daisy likes to drink out of her water dish with one paw (sometimes 2) in the same water dish. At times she seems to be splashing the water into her mouth. Regardless she makes a wet mess.

Well ladies, I just knelt down next to my puppy and sniffed and slurped at her neck and face and she pulled back like HOLY COW WHAT THE HECK GOT INTO YOU????? Either that or I have bad breath. Anyway...it took a bit, but she sniffed and slurped me back!!! Ahhh, a bonding moment. The things we do for the animals we love most

Our girl Mochi likes to dig......especially on pillows. She would pounce on a pillow and go nuts digging! You basically see a white cotton ball trying to dig to the other side of the world! She can continue this for a good half an hour. At first we thought her claws were just itchy, but we discovered, she would scratch at anything that seems smooth. I tell you, my dog is actually a cat in a dog uniform!
Another intersting thing I saw her do was play hockey. There was one time where I accidentally broke her kong toy cracker, so I just gave her the broken cracker chunk. She started whacking at the cracker like a hockey puck, and ran around her exercise pen looking for the cracker. She did ths until she was tired and then swallowed the cracker whole. She obviously choked on the cracker.....I was like, 'Oh No! We're probably going to the vet!'. But eventually she drank some water and was ok. I guess she was more use to the challenge of getting the cracker out of the kong; Since the cracker was out of the kong, she had to create some degree of difficulty before she had her treat.
Murphy loves when I dance around. He gets all excited and wraps his arms around my leg (kind of humping postition ) but he wants me to pick him up and dance with him in my arms.

These are all funny, great ideas.. I am going home to snuggle, sniff tic tac.
But, the one thing she loves to death is Tug of war!!!!! . O my gosh, you can wrap a t-shirt around your hand and arms, or wear gloves and mush her face around, she screams for more. She even goes to attack the shirt once she chews it off my arm. Any of her stuff animal she wants me to pull on the other side, while she bites down and pulls on it in the other direction. She loves this type of game.

Larry David likes to sniff and roll around in our hair. He'll even sleep on top of my head in bed just to be nearer to the smell. What that smell is I have no idea because he's done it to a number of people, none of whom use the same shampoo as me. It's cute until he gets so tangled that FH has to come and get him out of my hair. All the while, he's still sniffing away . I ought to try doing it to him like you do to Golem.

My sheperd mix loves her belly rubbed, if you stop in the middle of it, she will look at you as if you say, 'Uh, you're not done!' and then whine until you rub her again.
My Rottie loves to have her ears rubbed. She'll put her head in your lap and fall asleep standing up.
