I'm a BM in my FI's friend's wedding this summer, and I was invited to go dress looking w/the bride b/c we figured 'hey, two birds w/one stone right?' Anyway, we walk into one of the high-end botiques in NYC, and the first dress she saw, she ran to, hugged, and SCREAMED 'THIS IS IT, THIS IS SO IT, I'VE DREAMED ABOUT THIS DRESS MY ENTIRE LIFE! I MUST HAVE IT.'
This is when the associate came up to her, and when asked 'How much is it?' the associate, turned and told us 'This dress is $12,300.'
Of course my friend turned around and sadly said 'THIS IS SO NOT IT....MOVING ON.'
I THOUGHT IT WAS ABSOLUTELY HYSTERICAL!

i was cool as a cucumber the whole morning of the wedding. seriously, i was the bride who could handle ANYTHING you threw at me. i was smiling, telling jokes, etc. I had to wipe everyone else's tears. until it came time for the vows. right then and there i started bawling and when i cry, i get all...um, shall i say, snotty. so i blew not one, but two, snot rockets which i promptly sniffed back up, but the best man and dh started laughing their a$$$ off and so did my mom and dad. helped the moment!

OK....this might just be funny to me...but my mother, MOH and I went dress shopping for me....I found THE dress..and ordered it...then we went to look at BM dresses since we had extra time....My mom picked up a dress and said 'girls, how about this one'....my MOH and I looked and it an had kinda BLAH looks on our faces b/c it wasnt what we had pictured..and them my mother proclaims 'I agree.....there's not enough BLING on it!!!' Now if you know my mother.....bling is not a word that we EVER would have thought to be in her vocabulary!!!!

I was at a wedding where my uncle was using the video camera, and when the bride was walking down the aisle my uncle stepped out after her, trying to get a good shot and RIPPPPPPED her dress!! Yes, it is on video!! My poor uncle and that poor bride.
Also a year ago I was at a FABULOUS wedding in Florida and we were in the church, the wedding is going on and there were tornadoe warnings in the area. It was DOWNPOURING so hard, the lights were flickering off and on.. Then the ceremony was done. We were all waiting for the weather to calm down before we ran for our cars and BAMMMMM! Huge thunder, brightest flash of light and lightning hit the church steeple!!! The fire department had to come!! It ended up being my cousins firehouse who responded (the grooms) So they got tons of great pics on the firetruck once the weather cleared! It was so much fun!

After lighting our unity candle, the Priest instructed us to stand there looking at each other until the song was done. Don't you know I picked the longest damn song in history! I started chatting with DH not knowing that he was 'wired' for the video! I have yet to see the raw footage to hear what I said!

When my cousin got married I was her MOH...during the ceremony I strarted to cry. The Bestman (a long time friend) and the groom started to laugh at me...then I started to laugh...the priest started to laugh...my poor cousin is looking at me trying to figure out why we are all laughing...so we laugh louder...finally just about everyone is laughing.

Pre-wedding story from dress shopping.
I went dress shopping with my mom and dad. I tried on a dress with a little bit of a train. Not cathedral, not very long, but a train nonetheless. My father looks at me in the dress and exclaims - 'It's too big! Look how long it is in the back!'
