Funny Wedding Stories
Anybody have any funny wedding stories to share? Here's mine:
Me, my mom and a friend of mine went to a wedding at John Anthony's about 9 years ago. A close family friend was getting married. One of the bride's cousins that was there was so very cute and we (friend and I) couldn't keep our eyes off of him all night. So..when it was time to go home, we went outside to get in our car and saw that he happened to be leaving at the same time. (Mind you, neither of us spoke to him all night, we were about 17 and he was like 25/26) So, like silly teenage girls, we hightailed it out of there to 'follow' him for just a little longer. We're about half way home and I turn around to talk to mom and guess what....SHE WASN'T THERE!! We were so busy chatting about the night that we never realized my poor mom never got in the car...we left without her. Needless to say, we go back to John Anthony's and she's gone...caught a ride home with one of the other guests. I get home, there's mom....I give her a big hug, apologize, and then we both broke out in laughter. To this day, I swear I heard the back door close....guess it was somenoe else's car door!
