Furniture....ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Ok girls, I spent the past 2 weekends looking for a bedroom set and can't find anything that FH and I agree on. I have been everyplace from Carle Place out to Patchogue.

I think one of the girls on the boards father made custom furniture but I don't know who it was. I'm at that point b/c we have such different taste.

Are there any 'obscure' places I don't know about or anyplace in Queens or Brooklyn?

Looking for contemporary/transitional in a light wood with silver handles and not Ethan Allen expensive. Any help would be much appreciated.

Help us find a set so we don't have to live out of boxes and sleep on the floor

lori - check out my post - FH just bought our bedroom set! we are in love!!!! we bought it at Roma2000 in Melville - behind Levitz - awesome prices & really pretty stuff!!!!

I got a transitional bedroom set in light wood with gold handles (which I've been wanting to switch to silver and never got around to it!) at Rooms Unlimited on rt 112 in Medford.
(I think it's Medford. )

Hi there! My aunt in an interior decorator and sells furniture. If you FM what type you are looking for I can ask her and she can make suggestions. Then she can give you a price on it!
