I have a golden retriever who has a lot of hair. I shave her in the warmer weather but she still sheds. My vaccuum just can't keep up with the her. I am currently updating my registry and need to pick a vaccuum. Can anyone suggest one that will pick up the hair and not leave dirt lines on my carpet. Thanks for any suggestions. I am getting temped to bic the dog and make her a hairless retriever

Re: furry pet owner please help
I have 4 dogs (maltese, yorkie, poodle, chihuahua) and 2 cats. The Dyson animal does not work for us AT ALL. The cat hair is what we have a problem with and it just does not suck for us. Kara, I know you have a few cats so I'm surprised it works so well for you. Maybe our cats are especially furry?
We have a Hoover too and nothing compares to it. I don't know what model it is or even the name, but I say go with Hoover. They've been around forever. That definitely means something....
