There will be strippers at my fiance's party and I trust my fiance 100% but I dont trust his friends or even my brothers for that matter not to cheat on their own wives (confirmed already). He is not a drinker or a smoker and Im afraid one of his friends will get him to have just one drink and put something in it and push him do do something I know in my heart he wouldnt do sober. How do I handle this?

Re: Future husbands batchelor party
my FH just had his bachelor party, and his brother got XXX interactive strippers to come to the hotel room. His father was there and everything! My FH was mortified and did not enjoy himself at all. I told him that I didn't want to know the details of his bachelor party, especially if there were strippers, but he was so upset that he had to tell me! I was really upset with his brother, but proud that he was so honest with me. If your man is a good man (which I'm sure he is or you wouldn't be marrying him right?) then trust that he will behave himself :O) Everything will be fine! And if you're really uncomfortable with it, then have a talk with him and let him know so.

Re: Future husbands batchelor party
FH just had his the passed weekend. I wasn't worried about him, but like some, I was worried about his brothers and friends (some) that might influence some bad behavior or have strippers. I didn't care(really did care) if he went to a strip club but I told him, no back private rooms and no strippers in the hotel room. But, as far as I know, there were no strippers. I was pleased! I think you should go with the trust you have in him. Tell him how you feel. And I am sure everything will be fine

Re: Future husbands batchelor party
MY FH isnt into that kind of thing, but his friends are.
My SIL (my brothers wife) has instilled in him that strippers are wrong. That could be your sister, or DAUGHTER. Im not a bra burning feminist, but I think it degrades women and cheapens us, keeps us inferior to men.
So I don't approve. I have let him know that I would prefer and really dont want strippers there.
The good news is he will probably do a day of activity rather than go to a bar and drink. But tell him how you feel about it and you would prefer that there is no strippers.
Personally I think that if they get strippers that give 'happy endings' is just gross. You CAN get a stripper that is NOT a hooker.
I feel for you. But I think you should talk to him and tell him how you feel about it.

Re: Future husbands batchelor party
ugh, my FH's best buds are planning his. it's in the city, there will be some dude's apartment, lounges, etc etc. FH has been very clear to his friends that he doesn't want the whole stripper thing (he's skeeved out by them) but that doesn't help me shake the worry that his gross friends (the gross ones) will try to do something anyway. i'm just trying to focus on the fact that he's an honest, upstanding guy, and that his friends (good friends) will keep things safe and straight and clean. so mostly...i'm just trying not to think about it... sorry, i'm no help at all!

Re: Future husbands batchelor party
I can't even imagine what FH's crazy brother is planning. But I think FH would be so uncomfortable with a stripper that I am not that worried. Besides we were part of a group of friends in college, it was me and 7 guys, and they are all a bunch of big mouths, if something happened that is not ok, their is no way one of them wouldn't slip up and tell me and FH knows it.
But I trust FH completely, like you however his brother and some of his friends I worry about.

Re: Future husbands batchelor party
Just have faith that everything will go FINE!!
I was just discussing this with my SIL this weekend. I just want FH to have lots of fun on his bachelor party!! I'm not worrying about him doing something that he will regret!! Why? Because I'm not going to stress any day of my life for something that might not happen, if it does then it was not meant to be.
Now on the other hand, Saturday is his b-day and I'm in ATL and he is in NY. He can celebrate with the biggest player around him which is his brother and I wont worry. The respect and the understanding is there...

Re: Future husbands batchelor party
I wouldn't worry about it. If FH is a stand up guy, he's not going to cave to 'peer pressure' or be influenced to do something he doesn't want to do. Believe me, plenty of FH's friends have/do cheat on their significant others, does that mean FH is going to? No, if means that's what his friends do, not what he does... If you have to worry about him doing something with a stripper then I would say that's an issue that needs to be dealt with before the wedding, otherwise, trust him to do the right thing and hope he has a good time with his friends and a night that he'll always remember just like you'll hopefully have for your bacelorette party. Don't stress it!

I DROVE myself NUTS for 2 months thinking about that crap! I would overhear him talking on the phone that NO STRIPPERS were to come to the hotel- if anything they would just go to a strip club.. I lost sleep and got myself sick- not because i didn't trust him- Because you must take in the factor of A- alcohol, B- Dimwits singles who act like a bunch of morons when they see fake T**S in their faces.. C- 'strippers' that would do anything to make an extra buck!
Long story short- His BM and his friend did bring strippers to the hotel room- My DH told me in DETAIL everything that happend- and i was disgusted at his friends even more.. But i was happy that he knew his limits- and happy that he didnt do anything to embarass me or himself and he was completely turned off by the whole situation- he was actually upset that he missed out on an hour of gambling..he made a point to tell me that some of the guys were so bored- they were asking for a refund
So the only advice i can give you is DO NOT drive yourself crazy.. It's one night and trust him and his judgment! If anyone cheats on their wives- thats on them.... Just be confident that your FH will know his limits- and chances are..he will be more turned off than on...

UGH ... im really sorry... why dont you just talk with your Fh and let him know how you feel .. do you really think that your own brothers would do something to hurt you? If you do, you should DEF give each one a serious talk to!!!
My FH's party is in AC and I straight out told him no strippers... he teases me about having them but I know he doesnt really want them.. he just wants to gamble, drink and have a good time. .. I am also worried about his friends .. but my dad and FFIL are going, so they cant get into that much trouble lol

Re: Future husbands batchelor party
Try not to stress so much. As long as you trust your FH that is all that matters. I would set some boundaries and tell him things you don't want that matter to you. AS far as other people at the party there isn't much you can do, hopefully these people are mature enough to handle themselves in a respectful way.

Re: Future husbands batchelor party
You are marrying your FH for a reason. .. at this point you should be able to trust him completely regardless if he is sober or drunk. If something is going to happen it would or would have happened already regardless of the situation he is in or would be put in and the same goes for what his friends may or may not be doing when your FH is around.
After that being said. . .. If you trust him I wouldn't put another ounce of thought into what may or may not happen. Don't even let your FH know you are thinking about this because then he will think that you doubt his faithfulness to you.
