Re: Future Mulligan

well i am back on LIW today which means I am doing MUCH MUCH better!! I'm still swollen and sore - but am dealing with it with just regular ibuprofen - taking all those pain killers was making me soooo lazy and i was starting to get a stomach ache from them - i was like overdosing on them !! I cleaned the entire apartment today and I think I might run to the mall for a little while later on - i go back to work tomorrow! yikes! i was very paranoid about getting these things called dry sockets - but i think i am in the clear now, im getting better and its been 5 days since my surgery.

I was really worried about the dry sockets too. But youll be fine as long as yourenot sucking through straws. Glad youre feeling better. Mine are completely healed, now the only problem is the food that gets stuck all the way up in the holes. Its so annoying!

Re: Future Mulligan

Funny story... you know how like you are going to have a little hole in the back where your tooth was until it closes on its own...

Well after i had them pulled. I guess i ate something and it had black olives in it. And they got caught in that hole in the back... and i went to brush my teeth and i looked in the mirror and i saw this black hole in the back of my mouth... i was so scared that something was wrong... turned out to be the olive...

Im glad you are feeling better!

yesterday i had wendys chicken nuggets and fries - i struggled but i could not look at soup or mashed potatoes any more! the not eating is the worst part for me! i didnt realize everything i like to eat is sooooo crunchy!!!

my teeth were impacted so they had to dig them out from under my gums and stitch the sides of my gums closed totally succcckkked!!!they had to put me to sleep and give me an IV and everything - so annoying!

Were they top or bottom. One was impacted for me but they didnt put stitches. Actually the one that wasnt impacted gave them a harder time. Girl, I was so sick of mashed potatoes and soup I thought I was gonna vomit. I looooved soup and mashed before this and now I dont wanna eat them anymore!

i kind of did the same thing - i got one taken out on the top of my mouth - and it was horrible and i hated it - i was supposed to get two done but i was freaking out and only got the one done.....i NEVER went back.....they've been bothering me for years on and off but i didnt care - i was not going back.....but once we set the wedding date i knew i had to do it b/c i didnt want to end up with some kind of tooth problem or infection right before the wedding or honeymoon...so i had both bottoms taken out and one top.....i keep teling FH its all his fault that i had to get this done hahahahaha......its so annoying! and i look like a freak!
