No...it doesn't.
It has to be a legitimate response to a post...last year there were so many threads started to get to 2 million and they didn't count.

As long as it's legitimate...it works. If you're helping someone, venting, etc. then it's 'real'. But it's the for no reason or posts to just get to 3 million that won't count.
