FYI about the Marriott (uniondale)
If you are booking a bridal suite around May, you may want to double check with them!!
we had originally booked the 'bridal suite', were given a great rate. So we go there yesterday and talk to someone and he showed us the rooms and said they are being renovated soon.
so we call to double check the price and that they won't be doing reno. during our stay. Turns out the guy we made the reservations with booked us for a JUNIOR SUITE. Said in his notes 'bridal suite not available, offered junior suite'... meanwhile he NEVER TOLD FH about this. NEVER mentioned he was booking us the junior suite. NEVER said there were going to be renovations!!!!!
So anyone booked around this time should double check your reservations... you may have had the same idiot!!!
(turns out for the better because i liked the wingate better anyway, but FH liked the marriott for the bars)
