FYI - Family Relations, How Cousins are figured

For the record, and because a lot of people don't know this - this is how it works:

First cousins are the children of your parents' siblings. First cousins once removed are the children of your GRANDPARENTS' siblings (ie, your parents' first cousins).

Second cousins are the children of your parents' first cousins (or the grandchildren of your grandparents' siblings).

SO, The ordinals (first, second, third) are for SAME generation people only. You start removing when you're referring to someone in a different generation.
