I know a holiday G2G this was mentioned this in the ornament swap thread. I know it is a crazy time but would anyone be interested in doing one. I made a poll with one weekend before the holiday and one weekend after. I figured we can see what weekend works best for people and then pick a day.

Weekends are not going to work for me ..im taking a winter class and i will have classes then plus i work weekends anyways .....any weekends are bad sorry

If its Fri 12/9 (or any fri) I prob wont be able to make it because Im sure this 1 will be on the island and in the later evening hours. I dont drive. I dont mind taking the train but I would prob be the only 1 taking it and I wouldnt want to take the train home late alone. So depending on time and location I can see if I can try to make it.

Not sure if anyone would be interested but in the Deep Park Outlets there a place called Millers, they have a bar area and a restaurant area. I also know there a train station near there. I am exit 62 on the LIE so I don't know many Western places. First thing I could think of. Ladies any other ideas or what do we feel about this???

That place is a fun bar/restaurant and it's not too far from the Deer Park LIRR at all. I will be coming from work in Brooklyn and can leave my car at the station, so if anyone wants to meet there so they are not traveling alone, I have no problem driving people from the train to the outlets.

Miller's is good for me.. it's like 5 min from my house! =) If anyone needs a ride from Deer Park Station to Millers and back, I can help.. Traing Station is on the way to Millers and on the way home!

I just looked up the schedule. Deer Park is an hour frm Penn Station. Plus Im about an hour train ride frm Penn Station. It will be a long ride for me but I dont mind the trip. So depending on the time, if its for early evening, then ill try my best to go. I just dont want to ride the train home to late by myself.. esp the LIRR.. thats all foreign to me lol

Jassy-if it helps you at all, I can pick you up friday after work. getting home, I can take you to somewhere like bellmore train station. Its about 45 min to penn from there-no transfers or anything either
