I picked nyc... anyone is fine for me but, I picked nyc because its only fair for the girls that dont live in longisland

I think this is why a lot of people said nassau...because the city isnt really fair for the suffolk gals...i hate to be a pain I just think we should try to make it the most convenient for everyone.

Note: if ladies do decide to do it in NYC, I will be havng my own mini get together for those who cant get to NYC So not to worry we will all have a chance to see LIW gals.

I will be at TWOTY but if you guys want to do a Nassau one I would absolutely try to be there - I can't wait to meet everyone. I just need to know ahead of time so I can have the car.

I live in Nassau but, i dont really think always having it in Nassau is a middle ground for people that live way out in brooklyn or the bronx... JMO
Like I said though either one is good for me

I understand what you mean, but its also not exactly a middle ground for girls that live out by montauk...it just seems like 'more of a middle ground' then one of the two extremes...thats all i meant..but whatever everyone decides is fine..we dont all have to go to all of the gtgs...id love to but i dont have the money to pay for trains, subways and whatever we decide to do.

Maybe we can carpoo with people that dont mind driving out and LIRR has a city pass for 1 price to penn station on the weekends.. it would be great if most of us can get together

okay i know that NYC won but i think we really need to take in consideration of from where EVERYONE is coming from...and i think that nassau would really benifit everyone...its funny how when we ask nyc girls to come to suffolk u guys BUG out and think were like asking you to travel all the way to the hamptons....so i think the best thing to do is just to have it in nassau. its far for me tooo (im 40 mins from the border of nassau,) but i think that is fair for everyone to do so...


i think its okay for people to have there own get 2gethers...and that if you want to do one in NYC then start a poll and jump on it....and same for suffolk, i just dont think i can be responsible for the nyc, seeing that i probally will not attend considering it would cost me 20 bucks just to get there! (see a suffolk girl complaining about NYC lol)

I just looked it up, its called city ticket and $3.00 from anywhere in queens, brooklyn or bronx to and from penn Station on the LIRR.
I used to use it when i lived in bayside but, I just read that it is not for Long Island.... sorry

I think everyone knows my feeling on this as I have been the annoying one the whole time!

However, I agree wtih Colleen. Someone said that the last two have been in nassau and none have been in manhattan. THe same could be said for none being in Suffolk. There are plenty of us who live way out in bumble-F in suffolk and we are not asking any of the girls from nassau and especially the city to travel here. (you are more than welcome to but its not necessary.) For the suffolk gals to get to manhattan it would cost 40 dollars round trip, plus subway, plus whatever we do and it would take about 3 hours of commuting. I am more than willing to drive my new sentra ruby out to nassau...which would take me much less time and cost me much less money. I remember last time chatting with some of the city gals and it had taken them the same amount of time as it had taken us suffolk girls to get to the restaurant. So, i dont really see what the big deal about keeping it more in the middle is. If i am being unreasonable, please tell me and I will apologize...i just think nassau is the most logical and fair choice.

And colleen, you are right, it is not your responsibility to take care of a NYC get together since you wouldn't be going. SO if the poll you started ends up being for a NYC get together I think one of the girls attending should jump on it

I live in Nassau so that really is the easiest for me but, I guess its up to the girls that live in the Bronx, Brooklyn etc. to decide if they are willing to make nassau the middle meeting ground or if they want to have separate ones in Nassau and in the city since the majority voted for that.
and I dont think you should be planning a GTG that you dont plan on going to either.
