Galina Gowns closing....

I just got an e-mail from Bridalgowns.com (Denise and Alan Fields - authors of the Bridal Bargains book) with 'breaking news' on Galina Gowns. The designer is closing the business and the last day to order is this Friday - May 18th. I almost chose a Galina gown myself - they have some nice fabrics and styles. They are fulfilling all orders placed by this Friday, so if you have placed an order with a shop it`s suggested you call to make sure THEY sent in the order, and if you were looking at a Galina gown you`d better get your order in right away. OR - if you fit into the sample size, the shops will be putting the Galina gowns on the discount rack soon, so you might be able to get a great deal on the sample!!! Talk to them about holding it for you now. Good luck to anyone caught in this situation.

I got the same email that Karen did and I am sure that it is legitimate. As Karen advised if you have ordered any Galina gown call your shop and make sure that they have ordered it. It is possible that they are unaware that the order must be in by Friday May 18 or it will not be filled. This applies not only to wedding gowns but to bridesmaids dresses as well. Good luck.

Unbelievable! Karen - thank you so much for posting this alert. My BM's dresses are Galina. I ordered in Feb and according to my store, they will be shipped on July 20th. I will now call again to double check. Thanks!
