Gambling?

I used to be a big gambler. I was so bad, I was out of control. I joined Gamblers Anonymous with Bri. I haven't gambled in 3 years, 4 months, and 2 days. Its not worth it. I lost a lot of money. Believe me when I tell you it was a lot. If I told you the number, you would probably pass out.

I am the same way! I go to the nickel machines and even hate that. DH once gave me $20 so I would use the $1 machines and stop being cheap.

I am not a huge fan of gambling at ALL.. though I do enjoy a day trip to AC and I LOVE VEGA$... but once I lose a certain amount, I'm DONE for the day/trip. I will NOT go and withdraw more money to keep throwing it away

DH and I are both too cheap and if ESPECIALLY if we lose our 'allotted amount' really quickly, we juts get ourselves aggravated and it ruins our good time

I once went to Vegas for a week and only allowed myself a few hundred dollars to gamble with... once it was gone, I did other things

DH and I are definitely not big on the casinos even though I've never been. However... we do love a good game of poker or Texas Holdem, and yes, I play the lotto and scratch-offs every once in awhile. But I also get really mad at myself for blowing the money when I lose.

I like playing poker with family and friends...hate gambling in a casino...

I am going to Vegas next weekend for my bachelor party. But we will be doing other things besides gambling.

Nope. Was in AC last weekend for a dual bachelorette party and I couldn't WAIT to get out of the casino. It gives me a headache and the stench of smoke is gross . Not my cup of tea - I'd rather take the money and buy a shirt.

ETS: in college we used to drive to Foxwoods for their Bingo (yup, we were old ladies at 21 ). That was fun and worth the $18 or whatever it cost because it was entertainment for hours.

ditto.

I very rarely gamble. I haven't been to AC since I was 21. I've been to vegas once, and had fun, but I don't like to gamble too often. We usually just do it if we happen to be on vacation somewhere that has a casino, and then we don't play with much money at all.
