Gap maternity pants

I want to order the bootleg gap maternity pants online - do I order in my original size 4 (that I was three months ago!) or the size 8 I am wearing today?

Re: Gap maternity pants

I tried the low rise maternity jeans (no panel - under the belly) and was glad to see that my normal size 6 did fit me even though I am wearing size 10 in regular clothes since I have become preggo. I actually went into the fitting room with the size 10 in hand and had to go back and get the smaller sizes...felt great for a change. The only issue was I was still too small for maternity in the belly area so they didn't fit right.

A friend also lent me a few pairs of pants and jeans and they are all size 10's and 12 - Gap and Old Navy and they were all way too big all over - so my guess is they run closer to your normal size.

Edited to add - I have found some other maternity stores I do need to go a size up to fit my hips thus making the legs and belly even bigger for me....

Re: Gap maternity pants

Purchase the pants in the size your were before you got PG! I went right to maternity instead of making the switch to a bigger size. I just waited until my belly grew into them to hold them up

Re: Gap maternity pants

I know, thanks for the input - I'm trying to reduce the number of pairs of new pants I have to buy!
