I have never heard of this place. It's on Cathedral Ave in GC. My BIL's b-dya party is going to be there.
What should I wear? It's an evening party.

It's kind of like a Knights of Columbus or VFW hall.

I had my engagement party there. It is much much nicer than a knights of columbus hall. It is sort of a country club, they have tennis courts and members only stuff there. It is a very pretty place. The room is absoluteley beautiful. If it is an evening party you may want to dress a bit nicer. Not wedding nice, but niceley! My party was in the summer during the day and it was a nice casual dress. Actually some people were pretty dressed up, others in nice sundresses and the men in suits/polo shirts, khakis. Hope this helps!!

A lot of people in Garden City use it for like 60th birthday parties - I have never been there but from what I understand it is like a VFW hall in that anyone can rent from there - but it is nicer than a place like that - definietly a sundress or cocktail dress is what I see many people wearing there.
