We stayed there for our wedding night.

We had a Penthouse room, I think its called. The room was really nice, we had this huge deck/balcony.

We're staying there on our wedding night. We took a tour of the bridal suites, which are HUGE, and lovely (but pricey). We stayed in one of their 'regular' sized rooms last year and really loved it, and thought it would be fine for us for the wedding night (and a bit less expensive). Since we're only going to be at the hotel for 6 hours before we get on a plane for our HM, it was silly for us to spend all that money on a room we're barely going to use.

But overall, I think the place is beautiful, and the service is great!

I blocked rooms at the Wingate Inn. We didn't stay there, but if we had, they said that they have a bar there that they will open for you if your guests want to come back after there the wedding for a nominal fee. There suites were huge and really nice (I am sure not in the same league as the GCH though)

We stayed there when they were unfortunately renovating it. We had a nice room for about 300 dollars but, IMO, I don't think it was worth it. I liked the Marriott in Uniondale better!
