garden city hotel

Original post by kyy6dmac

Hi ladies,

I'm planning a wedding in new york , but i live in california. Have any of you looked at the garden city hotel. It looks nice online but i'd love any feedback that anybody may have. Does anybody know how much they charge per person?

Thank you,
dm

fh and i went there and they were SNOBS!!! sorry they talked to us like we couldnt afford it. we asked to see a room and they wouldnt even take us and we had an appt. i may not be a milliionaire but who are they to think i didnt have the money. oh well took my wedding else where. and i have over 60 people from ireland that may have been staying there. THERE LOSS. my gain in my pocket. sorry that is just my opinion.

Wow, I'm sorry you had that experience. I went there as well and I thought they were pretty accomodating. They showed us both ballrooms, the bridal suite and a regular room. I had a good experience there, they didn't make me feel like I couldn't afford it...and believe me I am not a millionaire either. Maybe it was tperson you worked with.

We stayed there about 4 years ago, for my cousin's wedding, she got married at the Milleridge, but a lot of the guests stayed at the garden city hotel, the grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are really nice too. Not sure what they charge pp.
