Garden City Hotel

I'm in the process of looking for reception places. The Garden City Hotel looks beautiful from pictures. Does anyone have any feedback on them?

Re: Garden City Hotel

I went to affairs there (not weddings) and ate at the resteraunt. The service was excellent, the food was good and the rooms were just gorgeous.

Re: Garden City Hotel

Hi,
The Garden City Hotel is a great place to have a wedding. The service and the food are excellent. In fact my friend is planning her wedding there for the fall of 04.

Re: Garden City Hotel

I've been to two weddings at the Garden City Hotel and they were both fabulous!!! Great service, food, an all around classy affair. Also, they give the bride and groom a huge, awesome (I believe penthouse) suite free of charge.

Re: Garden City Hotel

From what I hear now it is beautiful. We were going to book our e-party there, but at the time they were not done with renovations and we couldn't see the rooms. The BM we dealt with was also a little snotty.

Re: Garden City Hotel

When I went in late 2001 for July 2003 it was between $175 and $200 per person. (It depends on what entrees you pick) With tax and tip the range is about $220 - $250 per.

Edited to say that's what I was quoted for a Friday night.
