Ok...so yknow how you do the garter toss? Of course you do...here is my situation. I want to keep my garter but I have to toss it is I am doing my garter toss. So my mom said she will make me another one(which will be more special since she made it) this one I will wear during the ceremony and the dances...then I will change into my blue garter (that is store brought) so that one will be the one I toss. Is anyone else in this situation?

why don't you just get $3 garter from any bridal shop or even ac moore or something, and THAT will be the tossing garter and there's no fuss

uM....Actually a lot of people get a garter to toss and one to keep, just kind of like the bouquet.

Well thats not my situation. I did buy a $5 one, which I want to toss..but does it make sense to wear the special one (the one my mom made) during the ceremony and stuff and then switch off to the other one which will be thrown?

why do you have to switch off? why not just wear both of them? like have the toss cheapy one on the side--and before the garter toss just slide it on before the nice one you want to keep and tell your FH to just take off the one garter?
