Garter and Bo-K toss w/poll

I am not sure if we're having the garter/bo-k toss.
There are a few single people that we'll have at the wedding but who knows if they will actually get up there.

How many of you are doing this?

We are doing both. I just think it is a tradition that most people look forward to doing.

I feel the same way. i want to do it for traditional purposes. plus it makes for some fun photos!

I was torn on whether or not to do this. FH really wants to do this. He's one to take a joke too far so might as well let him live it up . Plus my single bridesmaid wanted it (plan on throwing her the bo-k). So I hope my FH dosen't rip my dress or flash everyone my privates

Absolutly!!! There will be enough singles there and we just love the tradtion of it! It's fun!

I don't think we are going to do it. I have been at weddings that didn't do it and I didn't even realize it. I want everyone to dance all night!!!!

Not going to do either. All of my friends are married and I think the whole idea of a woman feeling obligated to sit there while some strange man touches her leg is not very nice.

I wouldn't want to have it done to me.

my Fiancee and I have agreed not to do it. Our DJ gave us the idea of giving that bouquet away to the longest married couple at our reception. He starts with...If you're married only one day, a year, two years and so on. We're skipping the garter. Some people feel it's tacky.

I'm pretty sure we'll do it. I always imagined myself throwing the bo-k and I think I'd feel bad later on if I didnt get to do it. Not so sure about the garter toss though, I have to ask FH seriously if he wants to or not.

We are doing the B-K and garter toss but not have the guy place the garter on the girl. We think it will be fun and we know our single friends will joke around and do it for fun!
