Garter and Bouquet ???

HEY WHO IS THROWING THEIR BOUQUET AND THE DOING THE GARTER AND WHO IS NOT?????


I'M GOING TO THROW THE BOUQUET BUT NOT DO THE GARTER.

I am not doing either, I just don't want to. Plus there won't be many single women or men at the wedding to participate. We are also having kids there and it would be weird if my 12 year old cousin were to catch the bouquet - there will definitely be no one putting a garter on her!!

We're thinking of doing this also.
He didn't want to give up removing the garter! We aren't tossing because we don't have a lot of single friends and the ones we do hate the tradition. I always did too and hid in a corner when the time came. I caught it once and was mortified. It is only fun if you have a lot of people who are into it.

We improvised.... I threw my bo-k... twice actually... Long story.. and DH took off the garter threw it and then the two people that caught it danced with us and then we switched partners. Everyone though it was unique and the two individuals made it even better!!

... He ended up sliding the garter up her arm!! LOL!!

My wedding day is my aunt and MOH's 11 year wedding anniversary so we are presenting toss garter to them and a bo-k to them. Not my real garter and not my read bo-k either....just two dummy ones.

It's when DJ gets everyone up dancing who is married, then the DJ sits them down by increasing the # of years couples have been married, the couple who is married the longest, the bride presents her bo-k hope you can understand my explanation!

We are not doing the garter as for the bouquet we are doing something I am just not sure what yet.
