Garter/Bo-k toss

we're doing both. bo-k toss, i believe i'm using 'wishin and hopin' by ani defranco (my best friends wedding soundtrack). then, FH is taking off the garter to 'let's get it on'. he'll toss it, i dunno to what song yet. as far as having whoever catches the garter putting it ON whoever catches the bo-k; it depends who catches them both. we don't want it to be akward. i'm kind of hoping one of my bridesmaids catches my bo-k and then her fiancee catches the garter. because they ARE the next to get married (4 months after me!) and it'll be fun to make him put it on her in front of everyone

People are used to those things at weddings! I don't think it would make people feel awkward!!!! Sometimes girls are shy to get up there...but I think its a fun thing....

I havent decided on songs since Im not getting married for 2 years. BUT my friend used the Jaws theme when her husband was takin the garter off! I thought that was cute...

Me and FH are trying to think of funny things to do while down there!

He had said he was gonna come out with a black baby doll and look around the room wondering who's kid it was!!! HAHA I thought that would have been funny.
but then he told me so I said u ruined it! I would do it...have fun with it for sure!

i am not doing the garter or bo-k toss. What I have noticed in the past weddings I have went to. . . is that I was the only one who ever wanted to catch the bo-k, which i did just once. I think there will be MAYBE 5 single people at my wedding . . . so it wouldnt work out.


Plus, I had a bad experience where FH caught the garter but i didnt catch the bo-k and the girl was going commando that evening. . . .
