I dont have a garter yet and Im not sure if we are doing the toss? How come so many weddings dont do this anymore?

just personal preference... a lot of times couples feel like it interrupts the dancing and flow of the wedding and such.

I agree Jenn, and also, we don't have a lot of single friends. most are coming with their fiance or spouse. I was at a wedding not too long ago where they were literally DRAGGING people on to the floor to catch the bo-k and garter.

FH is a huge Dallas fan. I bought it onine from a mother and daughter that makes them. My toss garter is white with lace and pearls.
I only have the one garter - i don't think we're doing the toss either...but mine isn't cute - it's more sporty!

Thanks!! We got it directly at the Steelers store - in Pittsburgh...a lot of teams actually have their own - we were surprised that they had it in the store. It truly means more to him because we got it THERE - ya know?

oh so he knows about it? ok i think its such a cute surprise when he goes for your garter and then see's his favorite team- but I just realized alot of girls are not doing this so...I love it!

I think it all depends on the age of the guests, I will probably be doing the toss because I will be 23 and all my friends are not married or planning their weddings yet so there will be plenty of young and single people there !!! i think its so funny also!!
