I think it all depends on the age of the guests, I will probably be doing the toss because I will be 23 and all my friends are not married or planning their weddings yet so there will be plenty of young and single people there !!! i think its so funny also!!

im 27 and will be 28 on my wedding day and most of my friends arent married, im one of the first lol

I dont have a garter yet and Im not sure if we are doing the toss? How come so many weddings dont do this anymore?

We're not doing it because in all honesty - there will be maybe 5 single men & 3 single women at our wedding. A lot of our friends are older, as we are...

just personal preference... a lot of times couples feel like it interrupts the dancing and flow of the wedding and such.

I agree Jenn, and also, we don't have a lot of single friends. most are coming with their fiance or spouse. I was at a wedding not too long ago where they were literally DRAGGING people on to the floor to catch the bo-k and garter.

Most people don't do it anymore because people (including me) are getting married later in life so the majority of their friends are married or in serious relationships.

We aren't doing the toss, but FH is still going to take the garter off of me and then we are giving the garter and bok to his grandparents and then we will dance to their wedding song -- we are not doing the whole married couples on the floor thing -- just us and them!

I ordered the same one! FH is going to freak when he sees it..we are HUGE Yankee fans. As well as most of the guys attending lol

I love it! I couldn't hold it in and showed FH . He loved it!
We aren't doing the toss, but maybe the photographer will take a nice pic while i'm getting ready, who knows.
