We usually get unleaded for our car and its $3.19 a gallon.
If you go into the next town over you can save 10cents.
How much is gas by you?

Re: GAS PRICES
i have to get premium and i have been seeing prices of 3.29-3.35 for the cheapest. i get a little disgruntled that my car only takes premium, but then again i get like 30 miles to the gallon.
isnt the time right to start introducing the alternate forms of fuel cars? i forget where, but somewhere has that car that runs on sugar or ethanol or something.
ETA- that there is talk of the SMART car being sold here. i think that car is great on gas, so i have heard.

Re: GAS PRICES
Two places I passed this morning (while I was late) had gone up two cents by the time I went out at lunch.
I filled my tank (I was near empty) and it was $48.50!

Re: GAS PRICES
I'm so glad that DH and I only need to fill up once a month - we rely a lot on public transportation and walking. It's insane.

Re: GAS PRICES
It's $3.19 over here. I think we should start drilling in Alaska (although it's too little too late for that). Either that or they have to start finding alternatives that are affordable, charge the gas-guzzler tax again, or something. There is no reason why Exxon should have had such a profit year through all of this...means there is no good reason for it! Anyone thinking about asking for a raise in pay?

Re: GAS PRICES
Time magazine has a great cartoon about the army invading Iowa for corn....too bad they haven't updated their website yet. I'll see if I can scan it in later...
BTW 3.25 over here for regular.....and my gas guzzling V8 takes 61 dollars of it (that was at 3.19 the other day)!! (If only I had a crystal ball when I bought the car!)
