There's a rumor going around at my job that places are running out of gas. I was going to fill up during my lunch hour anyway, but has anyone heard about this?

I don't think so. I have seen 'no regular' signs but MCDO pointed out that's probably because everyone is just buying 87 octane now.

i think that's also because the gas stations want the money for the upper levels..i have one station by me that decided he would take cash only. that seems a little coincidental that his credit card machine broke down now.

The gas stations by me are only excepting cash-people are filling up and driving off without paying...b/c the prices spiked alot here in SC-it makes it easier b/c people arent coming in screaming an yelling that the CC machine isnt working
