General Vendor Rant

I am sooooooooooooo fed up with s*h*i*t*t*y potential vendor service!!!!

The price of everything is super inflated because it's a *WEDDING*, and with this economy, I would assume vendors would be hungry for business.

Instead what I am coming across is, no returned emails or phone calls, HORRIFIC follow up, lack in attention to detail when it comes to contracts, the list goes on and on.

I'm not just picking random jo-shmo companies from the yellow pages either...



It's so aggravating... I just want to shake them!!

Why is it sooooooooooooo hard to find genuine, honest business person!!

Am i the only one??

okay... rant over.

what i have noticed is that they are really laid back until it gets closer to your wedding date.

my feeling is if they cant respond to an email within a normal time or return a phone call u may not be able to depend on them for the big day..

every vendor i have booked i feel confident will do what they can to make my day the best, afterall we r paying big bucks u shouldnt hafta worry that u will be ur own makeup artisit..limo driver.. hair person.. banquet manager...

there r many good vendors out there, move on to the next afterall ur paying the $$$$$!!!!

I have had it happen with several vendors.
If I send and email to someone, they have 36 hours to respond, if they don't I move on. They apparently can not be bothered. Of the vendors I contacted this way, all of the ones that did not respond in that time frame, never responded.
But there are plenty of businesses and vendors that are respectful and want you business that you will feel comfortable with.
