Does the George Washington Manor have a web site? I can't seem to find it.
I want to see what it looks like.

they don't have a website. I think a small picture of it is available at www.weddingsitesandservices.com

Re: George Washington Manor
they unforunately do not have a web site..it is very plain inside..but elegant. I am havinga aJanuary wedding and I wanted fireplaces..we literally looked in PA, Jersey and then finally saw GW Manor..when we walked in we saw it duuring winter..so they had the fireplaces going..the chrsitmas decorations up..it was exactly what we wanted..but everyone has different tastes..it doesnt look like w wedding place..which is why we like it so much..its very charming..the food is fantastic..have eaten there a few times since booking it, the prices are excellent and the people there are so very nice. Like I said, we looked ta a million places and we both knew it was the place for us when we walked in the door. I just brought my sister there for lunch and she got all teary eyed and was saying how beautiful it is..but its beautiful in a very simple way..it just depends on what you are looking for. Let me know what you decide...when I saw the place and the menu..its just great because their prices are really great!

The picture they have in magazines DOES NOT DO IT JUSTICE!! Which is why it took me so long to go look at it. We looked everywhere else because their ad didnt thrill me..finally got desparate and took the drive to go see it and was INCREDIBLY pleasantly surprised.

I didnt realize that you had teh post about the chapels..Im sorry..Im tired..ok..their chapel is white..there is a bridal room upstairs which is where you wait until its TIME..then yoru bridal party walks down the winding stairs..then you do..you come down the stairs and there is a small aisle..it is very quaint and cute..just what we wanted..its plain.but can be decorated BEAUTIFULLY!!!

It's beautiful and the food and service is AMAZING! Barry & Jeanine are great there--definetely ask for them if you go! We were going to book there but we had too many people--it has a very cozy and 'homey' feel to it.

Jeanin is GREAT! I think there are two Jeanines..mine is Jeanine Phelan..but they are all very nice there! I have actually heard from vendors that have no connection to GW MAnor what a great place it is..so I feel good that I am getting married there.
