Georgettes or Mary's Corsettieres(sp?)??

Which is better? Ive been to Georgettes and it is so tiny...what is Marys like?

They are completely different shops. Mary's fits a bra to you, stitching it up and stuff. Georgettes just puts different bras on to see what will feel better to you. I haven't been to Mary's in years, but I remember that it was packed early and you had to wait, no appts. Don't know if it is the same still.

I got a great long line bra thing at Mary's.... The wait was brutal, but they do all the alterations there before they take another customer.. maybe you can call and ask about the wait before you attempt to go. I think I waited about an hour and a half. I went to Georgette's before that and for some reason they could not find a bra to fit me that didn't make my boobs look like pointy cones. The woman kept insisting that's the way theyre supposed to look, yikes!

I went to Georgette's and had a good experience. The lady there fitted me for my long line bra and I loved it.

Mary's Corsettieres by FAR!!! They actually make each bra to fit your body shape exactly. Plus they will sew your bra into your dress, give you padding, push-ups, minimizers, etc!!!

If you need any info on Mary's just ask me, my family owns it. And I'm not being biast with my preference, I just know amazing work when I see it AND wear it!

Mary's, that's the one in Woodbury, right? I went to both and got my bra there.

At Georgette's the lady was really weird. She was telling me that I'm such a big chested girl and that I need a D cup and I wear the wrong size bra. I am by no means whatsoever a D cup. I am a B and with some styles I don't even fill out the B cup. I think that they were out of the B cup in the style that I needed.

Just went to Georgette's the other day. She is sometimes there on Sunday and it is very quiet in there....I got a long line bra that I love and left with three very comfortable, everyday bras too! Very reasonably priced!

Georgette is great but I don't think the bras are 'custom'.

I really liked Georgettes. They fitted the bra exactly to my size, stiched up the straps for me so it fitted me perfectly. I really likee them.
