Gerbera Daisy

Has anyone used gerbera daisies in their bouquets, ceremony and/or centerpieces??

I love them and the colors would be perfect but one I heard theyre expensive, is that true? because theyre pretty cheap at stop and shop LOL and second I was reading that theyre very delicate and wilt and prob would wilt before the reception ended. Has anyone had this problem??

Gerbera Daisies are extremely popular... i seriously doubt they are expensive

YUP they held awesome... the non pro pics were actually taken the day after the wedding... my mom said the CP's she had at home didnt die until like a week later...

i tried to dry my bok but it looked really crappy so i threw it out!

thats all i had..... and they held up great and they still are. my girlfreind said that they are still standing tall!!! and all the bo k's are all still good!!!

they werent a lot of money at all

they are my favorite flower but im not using them in anything for the wedding bc of that problem they wilt easily yes the colors are beautiful but not worth it

We used pink gerberas in our CPs.

I will have them in my bouquets and a few in my centerpieces. I love them. My FH buys me bunches from the florist every so often and they wire them so they stand up staight and not wilt or bend. We love the job they do on my flowers we gives me all year long so we are using them for our wedding.

I am using red ones with red roses in the boquets for the BMs- I'm also gonna try to put them in the CPs as well.

I'm doing a nautical theme and the boquets are gonna be wrapped with roping - LOVE IT.
