This is an amazing opportunity for all LIWeddings brides-to-be! Jacqueline Nicole Cosmetics is offering a FREE makeup trial to all LIWeddings brides-to-be! She wants to have the opportunity to showcase her amazing talent and is giving all brides-to-be a free air brush makeup trial. Please note in order to receive a free makeup trial she must be available on your wedding date.
Here is where this get even more awesome...two lucky brides will each win a free make up application for their wedding day! To enter the drawing for free day of makeup you must text Jacqueline Nicole at 917.968.4713 to make sure she is available on your date (you must mention this LIWeddings contest) or call 631-588-6161. Then go and have a fabulous makeup trial with her. Then post one or more pictures of your makeup trial on this official contest thread along with your thoughts about the makeup trial.

Unfortunately, as my wedding is before the deadline of the contest, I am not eligible to win day-of services. However, I had not really been happy with any of my make-up (or hair) trials, and always wondered if airbrush would be right for me. Since most of the people I had seen for trials promoted traditional make-up for me and airbrush trials weren't cheap, I hadn't yet tried it, so I decided to contact Jackie and see if she would honor the free trial offer even if I couldn't enter the contest. I am SO happy I did!!
She was very sweet and accommodating from the very first contact I had with her. From first contact to the trial was only a matter of days, even though I know her business has been booming recently (for good reason), and I don't have the easiest schedule to work around.
When my mom and I arrived at her house, she had the door open and waiting for us. Yes, there's construction going on inside, but not in her studio, so truly, it affects nothing. She showed us downstairs and quickly offered us just about anything to drink, making us feel right away like we were at an old friend's house. (By the time we left, we definitely were!)
As for the trial itself, before she even started, she listened carefully to everything I had to say about my style; looked at pictures of my dress; asked about the wedding, what I liked and didn't like about previous trials, and what type of make-up I wear on a daily basis (which is basically none) and heard all my concerns (the biggest being how sensitive my skin can be). She even tweezed my eyebrows for me! I think she spent more time with me on a FREE trial than several of my other paid trials COMBINED!!
She did a beautiful job, explained to me everything she was doing as she did it, offered her professional opinion but never once pushed it on me, showed me several different looks and I truly loved the final result! Better yet, I even slept in the make-up (she assured me I could) and it still looked nice the next day (see last photo) and didn't bother my skin at all! On top of all that, her fee for day-of was actually very close to that of the artist I was about to settle for (and that was traditional make-up)!

Had my makeup trial with Jacqueline two days ago. After seeing the fabulous job she did on everyone and reading all the reviews, I had high expectations with my trial. Well, Jacqueline surpassed every expectation I had. She went above and beyond to make my mom and sisters comfortable. I LOVED the fact that she did not rush the trial: she took her time talking to me about what I liked and how I wear my makeup on a regular basis. She looked at pictures of my dress, and suggested doing a light gold eye shadow- it was exactly what my MOH/sister and I had agreed on for my shadow color. She got what we wanted immediately. My mom, sisters and I had so much feedback, and she took all of our suggestions and made changes to the makeup as we requested.
The things about my trial with Jacqueline that stood out: she is a perfectionist like me which I loved to see, she seemed genuinely excited about doing my makeup and it was clear that she loves doing what she does. Above all, she did not rush the process at all. She spent well over two hours tweaking my makeup until we were all satisfied. I also liked how she spent the time talking to my MOH about her skin concerns.
Have to mention her amazingly funny mom! Loved her as well. She was so genuine and warm, just like Jacqueline. I am shy by nature and I hate having to make conversation with people if I don't have to. Well, with Jacqueline, I was so comfortable and I felt like we were old friends.
My mom is very particular about makeup, and she had a lot of concerns going in. Well, thirty minutes into the trial, mom told me that I should book Jacqueline. And it is not easy to impress my mom. Needless to say, I booked Jacqueline on the spot, and I do not have a single concern about the day of.

I went yesterday for my free trail with Jacqueline Nicole and all I can say is she is amazing!!! She is no stranger to my family and I as she did my sister's makeup for her wedding over 3 years ago. She also did all the girls in the bridal party, including my mother. Now that my wedding has come around it was no question I would be calling her.
As soon as you meet her it's like running into an old friend, though we have only met one other time. She is extremely friendly and warm, professional and beyond talented!
We discussed my vision for my dramatic eyes. I showed her some pictures and instantly I felt we were on the same page. I am a redhead so we used more browns and coppers. I would strongly suggest the airbrushing as it lasted Forever, till the next day and you look flawless. I even have some tan lines she got rid of...picture perfect!
I could ramble on forever but I think her work speaks for itself. You will love her and her makeup application, I promise!

Oh Yes, click on my name and check out my album. The flash got a little funny on my camera so I feel like I look like a deer in headlights but the car photo is the finished product. For some reason I was not able to post my pictures on the forum as the file was to big (not computer savvy) but was able to make an album...who knew.
